Join us for the first of this important two-part series on ensuring your long term fiscal health. What do you need to consider as someone living with a chronic illness, when thinking about your future?

Marcelo Dorado and Scott Butler from Northwestern Mutual join us for Part 1 to discuss key aspects of financial security, including:

About the Presenters:

Scott Butler is the co-founder and a Private Wealth Advisor for Wealthpoint Capital Partners and has been an advisor with Northwestern Mutual since 1989. He holds several industry designations which include CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, CLU®, ChFC®, and RICP®.  Scott has successfully held several leadership roles with Northwestern Mutual, including Managing Director from 2002-2021, Past-President of the NM’s Managing Directors Association serving 2008-2012, Past-President of the Association of Agents 2016, and NM Committee member 2004-2020. He’s also enjoyed experiencing leadership roles with outside professional networks, including serving as Past-President and Board member of Howard County Hospital Foundation, a member of John’s Hopkins Medicine.

Born in La Paz, Bolivia and raised in Maryland, Marcelo Dorado began his career as a Financial Advisor with Northwestern Mutual in 2016. He specializes in working with Small Businesses Owners and the Emerging Minority Affluent. His passion is giving back to the community through volunteering at Children’s National Hospital and as his sons’ soccer coach, as well as a prior board member of the MD Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
