About Dr. Silver

Dr. Silver is a board-certified clinical sexologist in private practice in Portland, Oregon. She has a Master’s degree in Marriage, Family, and Child therapy, and a Doctoral degree in Human Sexuality. She is a trained sex counselor, group facilitator, and sex educator, and acts as a consultant to mental health professionals, medical doctors, and physical therapists on their cases relating to sexuality with specific expertise in Parkinson’s disease.  In addition to her private practice, Dr. Silver presents throughout the country on the topic of intimacy and sexuality and was an invited speaker to the World Parkinson’s Congress in Kyoto, Japan in 2019 and Portland, OR in 2016.
