"I Am!" Poetry Workshop with Ashley Asti
Sunday, April 30, 2023 - 4:00 PM EDT
In this virtual “I AM” writing workshop, held in tandem with our friends at Parkinson & Movement Disorder (PMD) Alliance, join poet Ashley Asti for a simple poem-writing activity that will explore your fullest self—who you are, where you come from, what you love—to reveal the rich tapestry of who you are beyond a diagnosis.
We’ll use writing activities to fan the flames of your creativity and spark conversations by sharing our stories. No writing experience required. Whether you’ve ever written a poem or not, this activity will easily guide you into the wave of inspiration. You’ll be surprised how quickly the words start to flow.
We'll also show you how to submit your poem to be featured on the YOPN website and in an international gallery of I AM Poems.
