Dr. Laurie Mischley will discuss her latest research and her perspective on using supplements as part of your PD Therapy. 

  • Assessment of nutritional status and identification of deficiencies: How do you know when you are low? 
  • Supplements that are associated with slower rate of PD progression according to data (glutathione, fish oil, and coenzyme Q10)
  • Do supplements make sense? What are the recommendations for doses and delivery?
  • Supplements B12, melatonin, folate, lithium, and vitamin C: When and why to use them

About Dr. Laurie Mischley

Dr. Laurie Mischley, ND, PhD, MPH earned her medical degree in Naturopathic Medicine (ND) at Bastyr University and her degrees in Epidemiology (MPH) and Nutritional Sciences (PhD) at the University of Washington. She earned her B.S. in Nutritional Sciences from Pennsylvania State University. Her work is focused on identifying the nutritional requirements unique to people with Parkinsonism.
