About Dr. Laxman Bahroo

Dr Laxman Bahroo is a professor and Vice Chair of Finance in the Department of Neurology at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital (MedStar Georgetown) in Washington, DC. He also serves as the Director of the Neurology Residency Program and the Botulinum Toxin Clinic in the Movement Disorders Division at MedStar Georgetown.

Dr Bahroo received his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey School of Osteopathic Medicine in Newark. He completed a medical internship at St. Luke’s Hospital in Bethlehem, PA, and later completed a neurology residency and fellowship in the Movement Disorders Division at MedStar Georgetown.

Dr Bahroo is a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and the National Board of Physician and Surgeons.
